Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Joseph E. Scalia is a frequent contributor to Mr. Beller's Neighborhood. He is a watercolor artist and the author of two novels, "FREAKs" and "Pearl," four story collections, "No Strings Attached," "Brooklyn Family Scenes," "Scalia vs. The Universe Or: My Life And Hard Times," a collection of humor and "Different Other Different Stories," as well as "Fish Story: A Modern Fable for Big Kids and Grown Ups" and "Poetry In Alphabetical Order," a collection of his poetry.
