Beth Hahn studied art and writing at The University of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and earned an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. Her short stories and essays have appeared in Necessary Fiction, The Hawai'i Review, The South Carolina Review, The Emrys Journal, Writer’s Digest and Largehearted Boy. She is the author of THE SINGING BONE: A NOVEL (Regan Arts 2016), and teaches writing at The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center in Sleepy Hollow, New York. “You’re out of the Night” was read for the series Spine-Out: Novelists Read Personal Essays at Dixon Place.
