Lily Lopate is a published essayist and lifetime Brooklynite. She frequently writes about New York-centric situations and the characters who fill them. In both her cultural and personal writings she aims to explore the daily ethical dilemmas that arise in interpersonal relationships. Her work has been published in the anthology, "Every Father's Daughter" (McPherson & Co), The Millions, Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, Honeysuckle Magazine and more. She has also received national recognition from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the Columbia Press Association.
