Fantastic little joint–the librarian is a long black-haired tlingit (pronounced ‘klink-it’) woman who just let me use her computer. there are about five other patrons in the stacks, among them, a longshoreman whom i know named ‘al’.

Outside, the fine smell of salty air and wet tundra is fighting with mastering aroma of fish. I’m hoping to catch a reasonable amount this year, but things aren’t looking so good, blast.
